Non-economic measures of use

Most of the measures of success focus on economic or financial indicators. More indicators about how New Zealanders are engaging digitally are needed, for example:

- Number of Govt agencies offering digital services in branches

- Population use of digital identity services

- Number of businesses or agencies that pair digital processes with physical alternatives for those without access

- Speed of adoption of digital initiatives

- Proficiency of agencies and businesses to provide new services digitally

 

 

Why the contribution is important

We may understand the industry adoption of this digital strategy, but without broader indicators we won't have a good understanding of how well all the goals are performing for the lives of all New Zealanders.
